Commercial Project Engineer - Early stage projects/Feasibility

  • Permanent opportunity paying $158,000 plus super
  • Based in Perth CBD, hybrid/family friendly working arrangements
  • Focus is Early stage project feasibility and business case proposals

Due to increased investment in their infrastructure and technology our client is looking to recruit for this newly created Commercial Project Engineer position. This role will be working in the team responsible for Planning, Scoping, and producing investment proposals and business cases for new capital projects to be undertaken. The development of these proposals and business cases will take into account strategic, financial, technical, market and regulatory considerations and will help the business to make informed, investment decisions.

As a diverse role, it requires a number of skills. An engineering background a commercial mindset, project management skills and good people skills with people skills are required. The multi-disciplined team comprises of Asset Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Planners, Procurement and safety specialists, this role will bring all these team members together, coordinate, facilitate and ultimately OWN and drive the business cases and proposals that will be presented to the board for approvals.
