About the role

As the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the Board, Operations team, and dedicated volunteers, bringing leadership that drives real impact. You'll spearhead operational improvements, collaborate closely with external partners and donors, and have a unique opportunity to shape and enhance the organisation's technology capabilities. This role isn't just about managing-it's about innovating and making a lasting difference, building on our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Strategy Implementation: Drive organizational strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
  • Marketing and Partnerships: Lead the delivery of our marketing strategy and foster partnerships.
  • Administrative/Financial Oversight: Ensure efficient management within designated delegations.

Skills and experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or other equivalent field
  • Previous leadership experience essential; volunteer management highly regarded.
  • Proven project/change management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
  • Valid Open Driver's Licence.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and implementation of relevant procedures.
