Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Technical Tester.
This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 12-month extension terms, with up to 2 extensions, located at our client's ACT office with onsite, full-time working arrangements. Flexible working or work-from-home arrangements may be negotiated with the successful candidate after the first six months of the contract period.
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Plan, prepare, develop, and perform testing on client's components and systems.
* Apply technical knowledge to develop automation test scripts.
* Execute system and performance testing on client's software applications.
To be successful in this role you should have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in ICT Testing using automation tools such as TOSCA.
* Demonstrated effective communication working with developers, architects, engineers, security, and end users.
It is desirable if you have:
* Existing knowledge of client's systems.
* Previous experience in technical writing for complex integrated ICT systems.
* Tertiary qualifications in the ICT field.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
