Our client is looking for a Traffic Analys/Transport Planner to work on a variety of traffic engineering projects.
You will be focused on reviewing, analysing and problem-solving crash data to determine root causes and solutions. You will contribute towards determining solutions that can be implemented and then manage the relevant funding processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in traffic engineering.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and problem-solve crash data to determine root causes
- Review road networks gaps in safety - Crash data, interpreting data relating to traffic
- Traffic Impact Assessments
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Make recommendations to ensure traffic safety
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in analysing Transport Planning / Traffic Data Analysis
- Data Analysis experience
- Previous experience in traffic engineering will be highly desirable
- Drivers Licence as this role will involve site visits
- Excellent Communication Skills
