Our Not-for-Profit Commonwealth Client is seeking a Business Analyst (HRMIS).

This is an initial contract of 3-4 months with the potential extensions until June 2025.. The position is located at our client's office in Phillip,Canberra, ACT. with flexible working arrangements possible.

As the Business Analyst (HR Management System), you will:

  • Collaborate with client staff across various departments to analyze current HR processes and systems.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise specifications for the new HR Management System.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather stakeholder feedback and ensure project alignment.
  • Develop user guides and training materials to support the adoption of the new HR Management System.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, and recommend solutions to address them.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation to showcase the HR Management System design for executive approval.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on an HR Management System design and implementation project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into user-friendly solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and meetings, and building productive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • A commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes and managing projects through to completion.

It is desirable if you have:

  • Experience in Aurion implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience in change management.
  • In-depth understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues.
  • Experience working with First Nations peoples in a culturally sensitive and effective manner.
