Our Federal Government Client is looking for a Client Change Manager.

The Change Manager(s) will be responsible for ensuring fit for purpose change management within a change team to provide support across the Client's program for multidisciplinary project teams, Program Managers, Product Managers, other staff and, where needed, external stakeholders to ensure the implementation of new digital and data products and services using agreed approaches. The Change Manager(s) will be required to quickly determine and respond to the change requirements across the program and support teams to understand and apply change management in a fast-moving environment.

Key Deliverables:

  • Developing and/or contributing to change management governance artefacts
  • Supporting delivery teams to identity change impacts on internal and external stakeholders arising from the development and implementation of new data and digital services
  • Develop, manage and evaluate change management plans that support change processes.
  • Identify, document and monitor mitigations for change risks and issues.
  • Other change management activities as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong successful and proven track record as a Change Manager in driving and supporting the adoption of change practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work to internal and external teams with autonomy.
  • Proven change management knowledge and its application e.g., certification in change management.
  • Proven communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills commensurate with leading change at various levels.
  • Through a continuous improvement mindset, a recognisable passion for helping teams succeed.
  • Established ability to influence with/without authority.

Mandatory Criteria

  • A strong track record of delivery in line with the key deliverables
  • Demonstrated skills and experience working in teams in complex ICT environments
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver change management activities in an Agile environment

This role is on an initial 12-month contract with two (2) possible 12-month contract extension options. The location of work is in Canberra, but the Client is open to a mix of days in the office and home.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
