About the Role:
This role is responsible for driving cloud innovation and initiatives which evaluate application technologies, establish methodologies and plan for low-cost operational management of operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Craft, document, and articulate innovative cloud and application delivery strategies and standards that drive organizational success.
- Ensure alignment and seamless integration of solutions with enterprise architecture for cloud and application delivery systems by evaluating and guiding both new and ongoing IT projects.
- Uncover and explore opportunities to harness and integrate cutting-edge technologies, delivering cost-effective and adaptable solutions.
- Spearhead the integration of new technologies into the production environment, working closely with Senior Architects and Design teams.
- Offer expert guidance and strategic support to business leaders, technical managers, and fellow architects on high-impact projects.
- Collaborate with a global team of technology professionals to optimize capacity and enhance integrated communication capabilities.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and deliver expert advice to engineering and operational teams, ensuring effective problem resolution.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications field working with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Experience with Citrix Technology; Xen Desktop and XenApp.
- Experience with all public cloud providers
- 10+ years Solution Architecture experience with Cloud Technologies
- Experience in support of programs or projects, i.e. project estimation, budgeting
- Ability to analyse large amounts of information and produce reports and presentations in a clear and concise manner, i.e. financial data and present charts on breakdown of transfers and spend.
