We are seeking two Cyber Security Specialists to join a high-impact, multi-year cyber security uplift program. You will be instrumental in delivering security initiatives and enhancing the organization's overall cyber posture. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, security frameworks, and vulnerability management will drive the success of the first phase of this critical project.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Cyber Security frameworks such as ASD Essential 8, IS18, and ISO27001
- Knowledge of global cyber security trends, attack vectors, and techniques
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and Operational tasks
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, GitLab, Ansible)
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability management and Security management products (Proofpoint, Carbon Black, Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, F5)
- Experience with Application whitelisting/management
- Familiarity with Active Directory hardening
- Proven ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience working in complex ICT environments
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Tranche 1 initiatives for the uplift program (FY2024-25)
- Collaborate with operational teams to secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Implement and manage vulnerability management strategies
- Manage and enhance endpoint and perimeter security products
- Harden user accounts and improve security protocols across Active Directory
- Monitor and respond to emerging security threats and attack vectors
- Effectively communicate security risks and strategies to a variety of stakeholders
