Job Title: End User Computing Engineer
Location: Canberra
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Configuring and managing a fleet of Android based mobile devices via MDM and MAM
* Managing underlying cloud or on premise infrastructure of the MDM and MAM services
* Implementing security policies to ensure mobile device compliance with AFP policies and guidelines, and to protect sensitive data on mobile devices
* Assisting other team members to:
Build, install, configure, test and maintain end user device SOE
Provide technical support to end-users on desktop-related matters
Conduct regular maintenance and up-dates on SOE software to ensure optimal performance
* Troubleshooting technical issues related to MDM and end user devices
* Work effectively in a small team environment;
* Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
* Record and maintain files/information in accordance with AFP requirements.
The Engineer MUST have:
1. Knowledge and experience in:
Configuring and managing Android MDM services, related infrastructure and mobile devices
Both Windows and Linux desktop operating systems
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry qualifications
3. Minimum 5 years in a similar role
4. High level communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively
6. Mush have AFP NV1 security clearance, or ability to obtain one.
