We are currently working with one of New South Wales' largest education providers. They are currently looking for an Entra ID/Active Directory Specialist with extensive Identity and Access Management experience. The initial engagement is until December 2024 with a chance of further extension.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level Active Directory solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our clients' IT environments.
About the role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Design, deploy, and manage complex Active Directory environments across enterprise networks.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Active Directory infrastructure issues.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing Entra environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Entra/Active Directory with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Providing technical troubleshooting for at a platform level until it is decommissioned.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory architecture, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).
- Familiarity with cloud-based directory services (Azure AD, AWS Directory Service) is a plus.
- Expertise in Entra platforms and technologies, including but not limited to multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), identity and access management (IAM), and secure authentication protocols.
