Our Federal Government Client is seeking an IT Solutions Architect.
This is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and two 12-month extension terms, located at our client's office in Canberra CBD, with potential for flexible working arrangements (3 days in office + 2 days from home).
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Support and assist a holistic approach to ICT investments and programs.
- Write high-level and detailed designs, engaging key suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Document Azure/.Net based architecture, solutions, and processes up to a secret level.
- Provide detailed technical advice relating to on-premise and cloud architecture and technologies.
- Lead and support a team of technical experts in defining guidance, coding standards, and best practices.
- Work under pressure to deliver business outcomes and provide quality services.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect within a federal department.
- Proven ability to document Azure/.Net based architecture, solutions, and processes.
- Experience with full stack development using Microsoft .Net and Azure resources.
- Strong understanding of the cyber landscape and specific Australian Government requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead teams.
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience with Terraform Enterprise and Ansible AWX.
- Work experience with Active Directory.
- Experience in RBAC design and policy management.
- Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Sentinel.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.
