Role Overview:

Our not-for-profit client is looking for a dynamic Senior BI Analyst to join their team. This role involves working closely with stakeholders at all levels to deliver actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and robust reporting solutions. As the Senior BI Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring high data quality, supporting business initiatives, and leading technical and organisational projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and data management, combined with leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of contractual reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and reports, presenting insights to both internal and external audiences, including executives.
  • Lead the analysis of new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and create solutions using structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and balanced scorecards aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Ensure data integrity by collaborating with Data Engineers and resolving data quality issues while maintaining knowledge of operational systems.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, lead BI user training, and contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement.
  • Lead technical and organizational projects, managing teams, and offering data-driven advice for informed decision-making.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in BI tools and self-service visualizations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights and reports in a timely manner.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with a collaborative approach to team management.
