Role - Systems Analyst (Data)
- Initial engagement until June'25
- Possible 12 months extension
- Brisbane CBD based, 2 days from home
- Hourly rate up to $103 ph.

About the role
The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in analysing and designing data solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making to achieve the program's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse requirements for data systems and applications
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems to identify areas of improvement
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design data solutions
- Develop data models, workflows etc. to support data integration, storage, processing, and reporting
- Participate in the implementation of data systems and solutions, including configuration, customisation, testing, and deployment
- Contribute in Integrating data from internal systems, external databases, and third-party applications
- Develop data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes, and data synchronisation mechanisms
- Participate in data validation, cleansing, reconciliation and data quality assurance activities
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in system analysis, with a focus on data management and analytics
- Experience in data modelling, SQL, and data integration technologies (e.g., ETL tools, API integration)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in data solutions, database technologies, data modelling techniques
