Role - Systems Analyst (Data)

  • Initial engagement until June'25
  • Possible 12 months extension
  • Brisbane CBD based, 2 days from home
  • Hourly rate up to $103 ph.
  • Open to Brisbane based candidates ONLY


About the role
The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in analysing and designing data solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making to achieve the program's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse requirements for data systems and applications
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems to identify areas of improvement
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design data solutions
  • Develop data models, workflows etc. to support data integration, storage, processing, and reporting
  • Participate in the implementation of data systems and solutions, including configuration, customisation, testing, and deployment
  • Contribute in Integrating data from internal systems, external databases, and third-party applications
  • Develop data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes, and data synchronisation mechanisms
  • Participate in data validation, cleansing, reconciliation and data quality assurance activities


Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in system analysis, with a focus on data management and analytics
  • Experience in data modelling, SQL, and data integration technologies (e.g., ETL tools, API integration)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in data solutions, database technologies, data modelling techniques
