Responsibilities

Develop Visual Interactions: Craft engaging visual interactions that empower organizations to make informed decisions from their data and take action directly within the UI through a Single Page Application.

Innovate with Emerging Technologies: Investigate and implement new and emerging web technologies to deliver captivating, immersive, and meaningful user experiences.

Collaborate for Market-Ready Features: Work closely with the web UI tech lead, product teams, and fellow software engineers to bring new features to market. This includes collaborating on requirements, confirming specifications, and developing scalable, production-grade implementations for a global user base.

Engage in Agile Development: Participate actively in a fast-paced software development process as part of an agile product engineering team. Your primary tasks will include writing and reviewing code in typed JavaScript (TypeScript).

Interact with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, architects, and test analysts to clarify requirements, adapt to scope changes, and resolve bugs.


Skills and experience

  • Development Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience developing complex, feature-rich Single Page Applications (e.g., Aurelia, React, Vue).
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and typed JavaScript (TypeScript).
  • Modern Web Concepts:
    • Familiarity with unit test frameworks.
    • Experience in performance profiling using development tools.
    • Knowledge of MVVM patterns and general UI controls.
  • Version Control Systems: Proven experience with change management/version control systems such as Git and Apache SVN.
  • Agile Tools: Experience working with the Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence) in Agile development teams.
  • Autonomy and Flexibility: Comfortable working autonomously, resourcefully, and flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
