Senior Google Cloud Engineer | Network & Security Services



Our clients is commonly regarded as one of the biggest and best Banking & Finance brands in Australia.

In this role, you would work as part of a strategic projects team within their network and enterprise security space, whose focus is to offer better services and capability across their businesses through leveraging full utilisation of cloud services and capabilities.

With a current heavy reliance on AWS, they are looking to strategically increase their use of GCP services as they progress towards a dual AWS/GCP cloud capability and hyper scaling.

Working with other senior engineers, you will be taught their tech and domain architecture/patterns, whilst as SME you inject and teach GCP orchestration literacy in spinning up Google services e.g. security and entitlements and fundamental network enablement etc.

Your enterprise technology expertise and experience will include:

  • Large-scale enterprise GCP project experience is a must - you can spin up a Google service in your sleep!!
  • GCP orchestration expertise around network, entitlement and security related services
  • AWS orchestration expertise around network, entitlement and security related services
  • Understanding the difference in revenant AWS/GCP services, capabilities and pros and cons would be ideal.
  • Apigee/ApigeeX. Apigee managed services experience ideal.
  • Networking and security knowledge
  • Banking and finance experience is desired, but not mandatory.
