IT Systems Engineer

An industry leading client based in East Perth.
The role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer experienced in the administration of Windows Server and Unix environments
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and technical support of Unix and Windows server hardware and software
- The design, installation, administration and problem resolution of relevant server, information security, operating system and personal computer technologies.
- Detailed problem analysis and support in server administration.
- Awareness of current data security standards and practices.
- Installation and management of a virtualised server environment.
- Client service delivery and practices within an ITIL service delivery framework
Key skills:
- Previous experience in the administration of Windows Server and Unix environments
- Proven experience working in large, enterprise scale environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- An understanding of ITIL methodology
- Relevant industry certifications would be desirable
