Network Engineer -PCN Specialist

- Seeking experience as a PCN (Process Control Network) Specialist
About Client:
Our client is a global mining client, looking for a Network Engineer with network with mining or heavy industrial experiecne in the Perth CBD
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Produce high and low-level production PCN network design submissions.
- Lead design workshops and mentor vendor technical resources to ensure designs meet standards and requirements are applied consistently.
- Perform reviews of network designs produced by selected vendors for both lab and production environments.
- Validate production implementation and migration approaches to ensure risk mitigation and minimal site impact.
- Respond to TQs and evaluate vendor technical responses to RFPs.
- Effectively communicate, manage, interface with, and influence site-based stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert in IP communications technologies with a focus on Cisco hardware.
- Proven experience in large-scale industrial network solutions.
- Strong understanding of change management and IP Communications fundamentals (OSI Layer 1 to 3).
- Experience with large-scale production networks.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across regions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and Cisco CCIE qualification or equivalent experience.
- Mining/industrial process control network experience is essential.
