About the role
Seeking an experienced Network Security Operations Engineer with a solid background in Zscaler to join our government client in Brisbane.
In this role, you will support and enhance critical Network Security platforms, including PKI, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxy Services, Endpoint Protection, and Encryption.
Responsibilities
- Manage security operations, covering support and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based platforms, incident response, and resolution.
- Provide technical leadership and assist with investigating and implementing potential solutions.
- Collaborate with technical experts to contribute to solution design, cost estimation, and specifications.
- Ensure availability and security of network security platform across internal and external environments.
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in Network Security Operations.
- Solid background working in large complex enterprise environments.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, and firewall-related are highly regarded.
- Extensive experience with:
- Next Gen Firewall, PKI, SSL
- Cisco Routing and Switching
- Cloud-based Proxy Services
- IPSEC VPN, AWS, Azure (VPN, NSG)
- Web Application Firewall
- Public Cloud Peering
- VMware (NSX highly desirable)
- Scripting/Automation knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
