Our Federal Government Client seeking an Pega Developers and will be responsible in designing, developing and deployment of Pega business process management (BPM) software that provides IP Rights processing capabilities for the department’s workforce.
 
This is a contract role that will run for 12 months with 2x12 months extension options based in Canberra. Remote work flexibility available.
 
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
 
  • Perform support functions including pro-actively investigating and resolving issues raised in production applications and track through the relevant service management systems.
  • Work with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts and End Users to translate agile user stories and acceptance criteria into technical designs for iterative implementation and deployment.
  • Design, develop and deploy Pega business process management (BPM) software that provides IP Rights processing capabilities for the department’s workforce.
  • Integrate Pega software with a modern web application, web services and databases (such as Vue.js, MuleSoft and Oracle/Postgres databases).
  • Troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
  • Document work performed including design and as-built specifications, and contribute to knowledge management practices.
  • Collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony and support cross-skilling professional development,
  • Work with the delivery manager and continuous improvement team to support an agile delivery model, and
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver stable and secure software and environments, that align to the Department’s reference architecture.
  • Maintaining an awareness of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) responsibilities and a commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

Essential Criteria
1. Outline and provide details about your 5+ years developing in Pega.
2. Demonstrate your experience Developing in agile teams, highlighting the challenges your team faced and how overcame them as a team?
3. Describe and provide examples of your experience developing PaaS and SaaS products. Examples should include the products being delivered and the purpose they would be used or business value they delivered once released.

Desirable criteria
1. Demonstrated experience in Pega 8.8 or Infinity ‘23. Please include the business need they delivered, and the value provided.
2. Demonstrated experience in React/VUE.JS development, including the business value and purpose the products met.
3. Demonstrated experience in MuleSoft API development, including the applications they were developed with and what the API’s were created for.
4. Demonstrated experience with AWS, including how it was used and the applications involved.
 
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who have an existing AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
