Applications Development Team Lead

  • Permanent role with flexible working
  • Paying $160,000 plus super + $16,000 in salary sacrifice + clothing allowance
  • Belmont location & Free parking

Our client is seeking an Applications Team Lead who can lead and manage a group of developers who are dedicated to developing and maintaining various corporate applications within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Support objectives that align with the overarching strategic goals of the stream, working closely with your line manager to ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
  • Application Development: Oversee the entire application development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • People Management & Leadership: Lead and coach your team to build a high-performing environment. Provide ongoing training and development, manage performance, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with legal and legislative requirements, maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, and report on performance metrics to the line manager.
  • Project Delivery: Lead the team in delivering high-quality projects within established timeframes, regularly reviewing processes to improve efficiencies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A strong technical background in application development, including proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies.
  • Strong Team Leadership skills, a person who is passionate about helping people be the best they can be
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver on time and within budget.
