.Net Developer

  • An initial 10-month contract with the WA state government with five openings to start late September.
  • Perth CBD location
  • Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL Server, Agile, ITIL.

About the company:

The client is a leading organisation focused on upgrading a critical intelligence management system and need skilled .NET developers for modernization efforts.

The role:

This role involves upgrading and modernizing a key intelligence management system. It requires expertise in .NET Core, C#, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server, with a focus on efficient, scalable code development.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade and modernise a vital intelligence management system.
  • Develop and maintain web, desktop, and mobile applications using .NET Core and C#.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Project Managers and Business Analysts, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for production issues.
  • Write and update technical and user documentation.
  • Manage production support deployments and provide ongoing maintenance.

Key experience:

  • Proficient in .NET Core, C#, and Visual Basic.NET.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Git for version control.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise systems and scalable code development.
  • Skilled in working with SQL Server databases.

Desirable experience:

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with Prince2 project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices and principles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
