- Initial 12 months contract
- Fully Remote role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver data insights projects on time and above expectations.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand strategic challenges, cross-question them to avoid assumptions, and proactively recommend intelligent insights to solve the unanswered questions throughout the engagement through the efficient use of data tools.
- Analyse data from the organisation’s big data lake in Databricks, build pipelines and tables that can be used for analysis.
- Develop, design, and support interactive BI reports using Tableau.
- Build strong and effective data visualisations for better communication and cognition.
- Deliver and perform in a highly agile environment.
Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of extensive Tableau design experience (emphasis on data visualization)
- 8+ years of extensive SQL experience
- 5+ years of Big Data experience using Databricks
- An open mindset so that if you are expected to use a different visualisation tool e.g. Databricks SQL, you can pick it up and deliver
- An understanding of the SaaS development, business model and more importantly, SaaS metrics
- Great communication skills
