Peoplebank are recruiting for a GIS Analyst (ArcGIS Pro) to work on an initial 3 month contract, but with longer term work highly likely. This role is based in Adelaide CBD (a full time, onsite role).
In this role you will manage and maintain the organisation's geospatial data, applications and infrastructure, leveraging powerful and innovative technology to enhance data-driven strategies and decision-making.
Initial responsibilities will include:
- Service requests from Project Teams, the CEO, and the Minister to create physical Maps, (ie PDFs) in ArcGis Pro, using internal and external databases.
- Publish Web Maps onto the ArcGis Portal.
- Transform information between various drawing solutions into and out of ArcGis Pro to create or export Maps.
- Grant permissions, add users, share Webmaps.
- Import data from our Asset Database using an existing python script or the model builder into ArcGis.
Skills and Experience required
- An experienced GIS professional, you will need strong ArcGis Pro Skills
- Experience with ArcGis Portal would also be beneficial.
- Good time management and excellent communication skills are also essential.
