Infrastructure Project Manager:

  • 6 months initial contract with possible extension
  • Based in Perth CBD
  • Skills: Experience in Infrastructure Project Management

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to work with our client to manage and successfully deliver multiple interdependent systems in line with agreed scope, timeframes, budget, and quality expectations. The role requires strong project management skills, technical planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documentation (PID) including schedules, budgets, and scope.
  • Manage and maintain the risk/issue log with planned mitigations and monthly reviews.
  • Produce monthly project status reports and provide progress updates to leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project cash flows and financial reports.
  • Ensure resource plans are in place for the entire project duration in conjunction with BID and business leaders.

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:

  • Work with stakeholders across multiple business areas to explore complex problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Progress technical planning and undertake technical stakeholder engagement.

Change Management:

  • Apply change controls to handle changes from approved baselines.
  • Prepare project closure reports upon project completion.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with the Governance framework and Project Management Standards using endorsed tools, templates, and processes as detailed by the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Report to various levels of leadership with monthly Project Status Reporting (PSR) and submit weekly timesheets.

Meeting Participation:

  • Attend quarterly business engagement branch meetings.
  • Participate in contract review meetings at the expiry of the contract.
  • Attend other meetings as required.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Project Management Services.
  • Proficiency in project development methodologies and standards, including PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Knowledge of systems, applications, and best practices in delivering Information and Communications (ICT) solutions.
  • Experience in network infrastructure, server management, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to explore complex problems and develop practical solutions.
