We are looking to hire an experienced IS Enterprise Architecture Manager, this is a newly created role to manage a team of architects. The role will ensure services are designed to optimise a secure, reliable, and standard way of delivering services to meet the requirements of the business. They ensure that new and existing services are designed to IS technology standards and strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong influencer and demonstrated experience in creating and delivering roadmaps.

Position Accountabilities

  • Oversee and ensure solution designs adhere to standards and meets application and business service requirements.
  • Manage a small team of Solution Architects to ensure a coordinated, planned delivery of strategy, roadmaps.
  • Oversee the standardisation of patterns, products and services delivered by the IS Operations function.
  • Design strategies, mitigate delivery risks and requirements with consideration of constraints, and manages appropriate exceptions, whilst retaining focus on delivering value for the business.
  • Deliver technology roadmaps for the IS Operations portfolio.
  • Thinking strategically and translate strategic intent into execution.
  • Manage and influence great outcomes for the business through 3rd party suppliers and vendors and translate that into clear proposal for delivery of Cloud platform and Infrastructure services.
  • Provide a clear view of the technology direction and strategy for IS Operational services such as Infrastructure, Cloud, EUC, Network and Service Management.

Essential experience required for this position includes:

  • Experience using modern, enterprise applications and services within a large-scale technology change environment.
  • Comprehensive experience of ITSM within a corporate environment, including experience standardising them across a global organisation.
  • Experience and knowledge of Infrastructure principals, and methodologies ie TOGAF.
  • Senior experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Recognised Cloud (AWS and Azure) expertise and qualification.
  • Experience in leading research and resolution of infrastructure related issues.
  • Experience in holding technical positions delivering infrastructure projects in storage, compute, networking and backup.
  • Experience with a large Infrastructure/application cloud migration project and management of infrastructure technologies.
  • 5+ years in leading a technical team, with the ability to lead technical discussions on workloads.



Essential qualifications required for this position are:

Industry recognised solution architecture experience and relevant training. Understanding of TOGAF principles.

Degree Qualified or Equivalent Tertiary and/or relevant work/industry experience in related IS/IT technical area
