The team holds full operational responsibility for the design, deployment, monitoring, and patching of client’s core applications. Additionally, they collaborate with various agile teams to ensure the seamless delivery of new and updated business applications into production, with most new deployments occurring on Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, deployment, monitoring, and patching of foundational applications, with a strong focus on Kubernetes-based deployments and working alongside agile teams.
- Adheres to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments.
- Operate on-premises hardware, with cloud resources.
- Product implementation, AWS Landing Zone product ionization, internal LLM Chatbot deployment, GitLab migration, and API gateway delivery.
- Based in Sydney, requiring two office days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain one being mandatory.
Skills and Experience:
- Infrastructure as code deployment experience onto Kubernetes (ideally with Kustomize).
- Certificated Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
- Kubernetes platform deployment experience (ideally with Kubespray).
- Strong Ansible skills.
- Git source control knowledge.
- Experience using Atlassian Jira/Confluence to manage work activities.
- Knowledge of Apache Proxy with mod_security.
