This is a contract role that will run for 12 months with 2x12 months extension options based in Canberra with work arrangement flexibility.
Mandatory Criteria:
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience with IBM AIX Operating Systems.
- Experience with creating detailed technical documentation, e.g. as-built documents, operational handover documents, support guides, standard operating procedures.
- Experience in working collaboratively with networking, compute, storage, security engineers and architects to coordinate deployment and management of components.
- Experience in working with vendors and internal resources to ensure delivery of solutions meets requirements.
Weighted Criteria:
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible automation, Red Hat Pacemaker, Red Hat Satellite and Identity Manager.
- Experience with Virtualisation on the IBM Power platform.
- Experience with Virtualisation on the VMware platform.
- Experience with Virtualisation on the Openstack platform.
- Experience with Virtualisation on the Oracle SPARC Platform.
- Certified Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCA) or Certified Red Hat Certified Engineer, (RHCE) or Oracle Solaris Administration Certification is highly regarded.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizen who have an existing AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
