About the Team
This Business Analyst will work within the Operations Strategy team - a small and highly energised group that provides support and advisory for multiple initiatives and activities across the organisation, as well as delivering specialised expertise in strategy and business management.
About the role
This contract role has an ASAP start until mid-December with potential extensions. It is based in Melbourne CBD with 3 days working in the office.
The successful candidate will help deliver initiatives that support Strategy and Business Management initiatives, frameworks, and operations by:
Responsibilities
- Translating vision, ideas and needs from stakeholders into comprehensive, well documented business requirements
- Analysing and designing solutions to identify and address business issues or opportunities;
- Documenting business processes and other initiative artefacts to support successful delivery;
- Working closely with the Director Strategy & Business Management to plan and deliver all change management related activity for each initiative;
- Facilitating effective communication between all initiative stakeholders; including drafting communication and powerpoint packs to produce 'explainer' information; updating SharePoint and teams sites
The successful candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in a Business Analysis position within a business/operational/strategic stream
- Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry or consulting (desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel - with demonstrated experience developing capabilities independently (i.e. online learning)
