Peoplebank are currently recruiting for two Senior IT Project Managers, to work for one of their Adelaide based clients on a 2-year fixed term basis (i.e. a salaried role, working directly for our client).

Please note, this is NOT a remote role, and you must be willing to be based in Adelaide, South Australia and work onsite (with some work from home flexibility, of course)

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Supporting the further development of the Program and Project Management process by managing and establishing PMO frameworks and implementing related processes and tools where required.


Skills and Experience required:

  • A proven track record of IT Project Management (7-10+ years), where you have successfully delivered a range of IT projects, from small, quick wins to large, complex, multi-year projects.
  • As the company moves to a more Agile way of working, prior experience working and indeed helping implement, an Agile way of working would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Any professional PM and/or Agile certifications would be a bonus, though not essential (i.e. PMP, Prince2, CSM, SAFe)
