About the role
A Solution Architect opportunity to drive innovation in the energy sector. Join our client, a leading utility organisation in Queensland to deliver the design and implementation of future-focused solutions for energy networks, with an emphasis on energy storage and grid intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solution architectures for energy storage systems, including batteries and integration with third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Digital teams to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions for grid-based energy storage.
- Ensure alignment with the digital ecosystem and organisational goals.
- Create high-quality design documentation and present solutions to key stakeholders.
- Support innovation in data management, supplier interaction, and workflows related to energy systems.
- Proven experience in large-scale solution architecture (OT, Integration, Networking, Cyber)
- Expertise in creating scalable, resilient, and secure architectures
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in operational technology and cybersecurity standards
- TOGAF or similar architect accreditation preferred
- Industry experience in electricity distribution such as operational technology and engineering (SCADA, ICCP, battery storage technology, control technologies, IoT, grid technology, etc.)
- Experience in CIM (Common Information Model) (IEC) 61970 (desirable)
