Job Title: 2 DevOps Engineers
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location: ACT, NSW, QLD
Working arrangements: Hybrid
Subject to negotiations with line manager, hybrid working arrangements in line with current company policy are available (minimum of 3 days each week in the office, with flexible arrangements in place for the remaining 2 days)..
Key duties and responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support various application functionalities.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for monitoring application performance and user metrics.
- Identify issues and/or errors and support the resolution of any technical problems that arise during iterations.
- Define a plan to optimize Scheme Digital Platforms application performance.
- Support designing, building, testing, and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process.
- Support DevOps initiatives such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, code deployment and system automation, ultimately ensuring that complex systems are operating optimally.

Essential criteria
1. At least 2 to 3 years’ experience a role involving development of full stack applications on NodeJs using frameworks such as React/Vue/Next.js
- Develop and maintain applications and scripts that reduces development chores
- Implement APIs to support various application functionalities and integrate with ALM tooling such as Gitlab, Jira, Microsoft Teams
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for monitoring application performance and user metrics.
- Demonstrate effective communication for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
Desirable criteria
- Experience with GitLab build/deployment pipelines creation, maintenance and monitoring.
- Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
