As the selected candidate, you will:
- Take ownership of identifying the automation scope for functional, regression, and performance testing, building test frameworks and test suites.
- Assist with functional and performance automation estimation, structure, and execution under the direction of the Automation and Performance Test Lead.
- Report on automation results with appropriate details and identified defects.
- Support the Automation team in delivering automation scripts on time for releases based on defined scope, reporting status and updates to the Test Manager.
- Perform hands-on test execution using tools such as SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Selenium.
- Enhance and improve the current automated framework.
- Contribute to the training of other testers and relevant staff.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience in automation testing in complex IT environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks for both functional and performance testing.
- The ability to provide competent guidance to testers on automated testing frameworks.
- Current experience in Selenium, Jenkins, Subversion, and Java development.
- Experience automating API tests using SOAPUI/ReadyAPI.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including sound liaison abilities and the capability to train other testers and staff.
It is desirable if you have:
- Pega experience
- 6+ years of experience in automated testing.
- 3+ years of experience in performance testing.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with a Baseline security clearance.
