Our water utility client is seeking a Boomi Integration Consultant.

This is a short-term contract role with an initial duration of 3-4 months, located  in Mitchell, Canberra. 

As the selected candidate, you will:
 • Define the scope and objectives of a Proof of Concept (PoC) for Boomi integration.
• Design and implement integration processes connecting on-premise and cloud applications.
• Develop integration flows to streamline business processes and ensure seamless data flow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during the PoC phase.
• Create documentation of the integration architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Deliver PoC results and provide recommendations for full-scale integration.
• Work closely with Icon Water teams to align business and technical requirements.
• Provide guidance on Boomi best practices and ensure industry standards are met.
• Present regular status updates and a final report summarizing PoC findings.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
 • Proven experience as a Boomi Integration Consultant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere, Process Manager, and Integration components.
• Strong knowledge of API management, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and EDI.
• Experience integrating both cloud-based and on-premise applications.
• Solid understanding of integration best practices, security standards, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a results-driven project.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in Boomi integration at a senior level.

It is desirable if you have: • Boomi certifications (e.g., Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Flow).
• Previous experience working on PoC engagements or short-term projects.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Dynamics 365, Cloud technologies, and API integrations.
• Experience with file-based integrations.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
