About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a passion for threat analysis and security operations. This role requires a proactive professional who can assess and respond to security incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyse threat intelligence feeds and security alerts to identify and mitigate risks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including phishing, malware, and data breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation efforts.
- Monitor and improve security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure a robust security posture.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in a Cyber Security Analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and security operations.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Desirable Skills
- Mining industry experience.
- Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH).
- Experience in threat hunting, digital forensics, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).

- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
