As the Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the IT security infrastructure, tools and associated monitoring platforms, be involved in vulnerability and penetration testing as well as contributing to security audits and assessments to ensure the ongoing protection of IT Systems.
You will review and report on the technology landscape and configuration, providing recommendations for uplifts to ensure IT systems and applications including the associated policies, standards, processes, and procedures are aligned with our IT Security requirements.
About you:
• 7+ years’ experience working within the IT Service Provider / Mid-Large corporate environment or similar role, preferably within the Banking and Financial Services Sector.
• Demonstrated experience with implementing, configuring, and managing security tooling including SIEM and PAM, preferably LogRythm, Delina and CyberArk across an enterprise providing resilient and highly available solutions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and managing HSMs, preferably Entrust or Thales.
• Demonstrated experience with implementing, configuring, and managing Firewalls preferably Fortinet.
• Demonstrated experience with Vulnerability scanning tools preferably Qualys, including the analysis and reporting of the data to provide recommendations and action plans to management.
• Demonstrated experience with providing technical guidance for security hardening and best practices for Infrastructure platforms including Windows, Linux, VMWare, SQL, Cisco, F5s and Fortinet.
• Experience with SQL TDE encryption, encryption tools, certificate management, key management services, and data-at-rest/transit protection.
• Experience and solid understanding of cyber security practices and compliance requirements, in particular across the banking and finance sectors.
• Experience with scripting and automation such as PowerShell, python, terraform.
