Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a strategic on-premise cloud application environment.
- Build, configure, and oversee critical Kafka infrastructure.
- Implement and manage enterprise-level monitoring and logging solutions (Elasticsearch).
- Drive infrastructure enhancements to promote security, performance, and modularity.
- Automate complex business and technical processes to improve efficiency.
- Advocate for new technologies and standards within the organisation.
- Must have significant experience working with on-premise solutions
- Proficient in managing Kafka and/or Kubernetes.
- Expertise in containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with both Windows and Linux OS, including system performance analysis and optimisation.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise automation platforms (e.g. Automic, Control-M).
- Knowledge of tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of DevOps experience.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Proactive and motivated, with a knack for solving problems efficiently.
- Able to work flexibly and under pressure to meet deadlines.
