- The ICT Procurement Specialist will oversee complex, high-value strategic procurement processes using Queensland Government contracting frameworks such as QITC/GITC and General Goods and Services, ensuring compliance with government regulations and client policies and procedures.
- Leverage innovative thinking and strategic procurement approaches to drive business outcomes while adhering to the requirements of applicable procurement frameworks.
- Independently assess and manage procurement risks in the context of strategic procurement.
- Conduct planning and market research to formulate strategic sourcing, contracting strategies, and procurement plan documentation.
- Analyze and refine specifications to ensure clear and accurate definition of business requirements.
- Create tender documentation, including evaluation plans, in alignment with defined requirements and in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Prepare, document, and execute negotiation strategies as needed for contract negotiations.
- Experience on the Queensland Procurement Policy, relevant contract conditions, contract law, and other legislative matters related to contracting.
