We are collaborating with our government client, who is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team as an individual contributor on an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering specific projects, including IT projects, on time, within scope, and on budget, ensuring customer and business division satisfaction.
This role requires drawing on knowledge and experience across projects, tools, methods, procedures, and equipment in project management to provide expert support and guidance on project management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex end-to-end policy and IT projects, including financials, risks, resources, and vendor management, along with a strong understanding of the project life cycle, documentation, standards, and governance.
- Proficiency in project management systems to effectively track project health and progress, such as OnePlan, Jira, and SharePoint.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project management, or other relevant fields.
- Eligibility to work in Australia: Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit or visa.
