The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance the brand presence of Peoplebank and Leaders IT. This role involves overseeing all marketing activities, managing the Marketing and Content Executive, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns. You will play a vital role in expanding our market reach, supporting sales, driving growth and elevating our brand to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Thought Leadership and Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy that positions Peoplebank and Leaders IT as thought leaders in the IT recruitment and solutions industry. Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
• Lead Generation and Campaign Management: Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive new business opportunities. Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimise results.
• Sales Marketing: Develop content strategies for marketing decks and collateral to support sales efforts and enhance market presence.
• Digital Marketing and Social Media: Oversee the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing. Manage the company's social media presence, creating and curating content to engage with the target audience.
• Brand Management and Public Relations: Maintain and enhance the brand image of Peoplebank and Leaders IT. Develop and implement PR strategies to increase brand visibility and reputation. Manage relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Oversee relationships with job platforms like SEEK and LinkedIn. Negotiate contracts to secure the best deals and maximize platform usage. Optimise internal usage to ensure effectiveness. Calculate ROI to ensure value for money.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Analyse customer feedback and market data to inform marketing strategies.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve marketing objectives. Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with other departments such as sales, product, and customer service.
About You:
• Education and Experience: A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in sales and marketing management, with at least 5 years in a similar role, is essential.
• Recruitment marketing or B2B marketing experience in the professional services industry
• Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, including tender writing, sales enablement, digital marketing, branding, and brand enhancement. Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms preferred.
• Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing and sales data.
• Digital Marketing Proficiency: Strong knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, content marketing, social media, and email campaigns.
• Strategic Thinker: A strategic mindset, capable of developing and executing sales and marketing plans that align with company objectives.
• Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of customer behavior and the ability to create marketing and sales strategies that resonate with target audiences.
