The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- MicroStrategy Development & Administration
- Design, develop, and optimize MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and analytical applications.
- Configure, deploy, and administer MicroStrategy environments (including development, testing, and production).
- Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of MicroStrategy environments.
- Manage user access, security, and session parameters within MicroStrategy platforms.
- Design and implement MicroStrategy solutions, integrating with diverse data sources including Snowflake, Oracle, and Azure cloud environments.
- Architect scalable and high-performance reporting solutions, ensuring seamless integration across multiple data layers (on-prem and cloud-based).
- Develop and maintain data models and ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Leverage Azure and Snowflake platforms for hosting data and creating cloud-based reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with database teams to ensure proper connection and optimization between MicroStrategy and Oracle databases.
- 6+ years of experience working with MicroStrategy as a developer, administrator, and architect.
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud platforms, particularly in managing data storage, reporting, and integration with BI tools.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a cloud-based data warehouse and expertise in integrating Snowflake data with MicroStrategy.
- Experience in the retail domain, with understanding of retail analytics, KPIs, and operational data.
- Proven ability to optimize MicroStrategy performance for high-volume environments.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and report design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical business users.
