We are collaborating with our banking client, who is looking for a Middleware Senior Integration Engineer - IBM MQ to join their team as an individual contributor on a initial 6 months contract basis.
For this role, you will need strong experience in the following:
We are looking for a talented professional with IBM MQ and AWS expertise to join the team to lead a critical migration project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration current architecture to AWS.
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support the platform.
- Integrate IBM MQ with AWS services to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
- Ensure the platform's high availability, scalability, and security during and after the migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute migration strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.
- Document the migration process and provide training to relevant team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM MQ.
- Experience in leading cloud migration projects.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other messaging systems and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
