About the Role
Seeking an experienced Network Security Architect for a prestigious government client in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee network and security architecture principles, designs, and foundational platform integration.
- Collaborate with executives, ICT Portfolio Management, and other stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in network and security design architecture, with proven expertise in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions and network security technologies.
- Strong understanding of public cloud networks, data backup/storage, security domains, proxy, DNS, directories, and local/enterprise firewall infrastructure services.
- Demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate, and influence a broad cross-section of stakeholders.
- Experience in large complex organizations, preferably within government bodies.
- Familiarity with Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) network design standards and guidelines.
- Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
