Townsville City Council is embarking on Project Connect, a major ERP transformation initiative to modernize our systems and improve service delivery. We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to lead this complex implementation, ensuring successful delivery of a progressive, cloud-based ERP solution (ideally Oracle).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end ERP transformation project (technical & business aspects)
- Manage stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners
- Oversee project schedules, risks, dependencies & governance
- Ensure successful change management & business adoption
- Utilize Agile & Waterfall methodologies for delivery
About You:
- 8-10 years’ experience in project/program management in large-scale ERP implementations
- Strong experience with Oracle ERP or other major ERP solutions
- Proven ability to manage vendors, project governance & stakeholder engagement
- Experience in local government, utilities, or complex enterprise environments (desirable)
- Strong leadership, negotiation & problem-solving skills
