The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of ITSM & SIAM and will manage and support the department in uplifting and maintaining their ITSM maturity as well as support the operational transition to a SIAM model.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Support the development, transition & day to day operations of ITSM and SIAM processes, engaging with colleagues, internal/external suppliers and key business stakeholders.
- Assist with ITSM documentation management within the Operations Management team, implementing and uplifting policies & processes as well as pro-actively identifying improvements and enhancements.
- Working under general and often limited direction as the SME for all ITSM/SIAM related activities and work, providing advice and guidance to the director & broader team.
- Support the adoption of SIAM & ITSM policies, processes and procedures, ensuring they are in place for each practice & function and are followed by all service providers.
- Assisting the director by working with the Division(s) and the department in the activities associated with establishing and implementing ITSM & SIAM services.

Essential criteria
The applicants should have:
- Intermediate – advanced ITIL certifications & experience
- SIAM certifications & experience
- 8+ years of experience working within an enterprise ITSM/SIAM SME role.

The role is on an initial 12-month contract with two (2) possible 12-month contract extension options. The work is based in Canberra, ACT with the option to work at home two (2) days a week and three (3) days on site.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australians with active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
