We are working in partnership with a major Australian banking organisation for an opportunity to join their team as a Siebel Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Siebel CRM applications to support banking operations. The role requires strong technical expertise in Siebel configuration, scripting, workflows, and integration with other enterprise systems. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and IT teams to ensure the effective delivery of Siebel solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain Siebel CRM applications to support banking processes and customer interactions.
- Customize Siebel workflows, business services, and scripts to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement integrations between Siebel and other enterprise systems (e.g., banking platforms, databases).
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for Siebel applications.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data security standards, and best practices in Siebel development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including testers, system architects, and support staff, to deliver high-quality CRM solutions.
Essential Technical Skills:
- Siebel CRM Expertise: Proficient in Siebel configuration, Siebel Tools, Siebel scripting (eScripts), and business services.
- Siebel Architecture: In-depth understanding of Siebel architecture, including Siebel Server, Siebel Gateway, and Siebel Web Clients.
- Integration Experience: Strong knowledge of Siebel EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) for integrating Siebel with other applications and systems (e.g., Web Services, REST, SOAP, MQ).
- Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze and optimize Siebel system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall system efficiency.
- Problem-Solving & Debugging: Strong debugging skills using Siebel diagnostics tools and logs to identify and resolve issues.
- Banking Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of banking operations, customer relationship management, and financial products.
