This is an on-gong permanent role, and they are happy to also consider full time, or part-time (0.8 FTE to 1 FTE). You must also be willing and able to work from their offices in the Adelaide CBD (i.e. this is NOT a remote role).
A proactive and detail-oriented individual, with exceptional communications skills, you will be responsible for configuring and optimising our client’s software systems, performing testing to ensure system functionality, and providing support to end-users. While programming skills are not required, you will need an aptitude for understanding complex IT systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities
Testing:
- Execute test plans to validate configurations and system functionality.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, log, and report any issues or inconsistencies.
- Ensure configurations meet high standards of quality and reliability before deployment.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve bugs and ensure the system meets quality standards.
Configuration:
- Assist in the configuration of their Software platform to meet specific client requirements.
- Document configuration processes and maintain up-to-date system records.
Support:
- Provide ad-hoc 1st line support to Users and Clients via an online ticketing system, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Assist with onboarding and training new users, providing guidance on system usage.
- Use initiative to troubleshoot and resolve client issues independently or escalate as necessary.
- Deliver clear and professional communication, ensuring a positive client experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications
You must have 3-5+ years experience in a similar role (this is NOT an entry level role)
Technical Proficiency:
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex software systems.
- Familiarity with business applications or platforms (specific software experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve system issues.
- Keen observational skills and attention to detail to identify inconsistencies or errors.
- Analytical thinking to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
