This role is based in the Adelaide CBD and is NOT a remote role (this is full-time, onsite role), and we are happy to consider people wanting to work on either an hourly rate, or a salaried basis.
Specifically, as a Test Manager you will lead and coordinate the testing component of integration work packages and the end-to-end delivery aspects of major transition projects.
The Test Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting a team of Testers by providing clear directions and delegating tasks, aligned to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Creating and maintaining the quality assurance and testing artefacts related to the Integration components.
- Producing testing deliverables i.e., test strategy, test plans, test cases (including performance and load testing), traceability matrix and completion reports.
- Guiding and assisting with the coordination and capture of issues identified during the QA project phases.
- Identifying requirements for, and aligning scheduling of, Integration platform test environments to facilitate controlled testing across multiple agencies whilst considering delivery of project outcomes against other program priorities;
- maintaining environment roadmaps
- reporting regularly on the status of quality assurance testing on a per project basis;
- overseeing the log and maintenance of test results, issues, risks, and priorities;
- working closely with the Project Manager(s) and relevant testing resources to achieve the required outcomes.
- 3-5+ years working as a Test Manager in a corporate environment.
- Managed the QA phase for at least two integration related project with a budget of at least $250k
- Strong background in producing test artefacts including ‘end to end’ business and ICT architecture testing approaches
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, documentation skills working at all levels of an organization
- Proficient use of MS Office and scheduling software, as well as an understanding of scheduling techniques to deliver an outcome in an agreed timeframe (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in issue and risk management, regular reporting, and presentation of information to management and stakeholders, to ensure all stakeholders are aware of progress, issues, problems, and available mitigation strategies. (desirable)
- Experience in using Service Now to support the capture of faults (desirable)
- The candidate must allow a police check and be successful in gaining a Working with Children clearance.
