We are currently recruiting for multiple Application Support Engineers to work on a major Federal Government Department

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.
  • Analyze system performance and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
  • Monitor application performance and integrate data with dashboards.

What we’re looking for:
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE technologies, Greenplum Database, and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong working knowledge of integration technologies like MQ, REST, and API-based integration, including data extraction mechanisms.
  • Experience with IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise software, and IBM WBI Message Broker.
  • Expertise in Siebel, including troubleshooting, fault finding, case management, product configuration, and support (architecture, logs management).
  • Familiarity with configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with integration/API-based production support.
