Role Overview:
The Cyber Business Systems Analyst will participate as a member of the Cyber Program team and will perform the following:
- Attending and facilitating workshops with internal stakeholders.
- Confirmation of scope.
- Analysing requirements within the project scope.
- Current state analysis and definition
- Elicit, analyse and document high-level business requirements, functional requirements and related processes.
- Work closely with the solutions architect to ensure positive solution outcomes.
- Data analysis.
Competencies & Skill Level:
- Background in implementation of Cyber Security solutions
- Awareness of technical concepts, preferably in both infrastructure and applications
- Demonstrable experience in business systems analysis and design
- Competent with MS Excel and MS Visio
- Experience in business process analysis and modelling, preferably using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard version 2.0 using MS Visio or other tools.
- Experience aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) standard version 3.0 and the AGILE Extension to the BABOK Guide version 2.0.
- Proven ability to deliver quality outputs and outcomes for the project.
- Strong time management and work prioritisation skills.
- Strong written, verbal and technical documentation skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Critical thinker.
- Ability to work autonomously and with other project staff in a collaborative and respectful manner.
Desirable:
- Understanding of cyber risks and threats
- Awareness of the ACSC Essential 8
- Previous experience in projects delivering:
- Identity and Access Management
- Privileged access management
- Cyber control assurance reporting
- Data protection solutions and processes
- Network security solutions
- Cyber Security certification, such as CompTIA Security+, a GIAC certification, ISC2 CC
