Overview

As a leader and a part of the project team, the role will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage of changes associated with the delivery of new Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Working with business leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts, the Change Manager will ensure the project meets its objectives by preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes. Overall, the role should seek to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and proficiency with the changes that are implemented in alignment with business goals.

Key Skills

  • Relevant tertiary / professional qualifications in business, or a related field (postgraduate qualification in Change Management highly desirable).
  • Extensive (at least 7 years) experience working in a similar role in a diverse multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven ability in interpreting technical information and translating it into audience appropriate communications.
  • Extensive ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and analytical skills in a highly complex environment using leading -edge technologies and integrating diverse user systems.
  • Extensive experience working as part of a project team, with demonstrable success in delivering project outcomes including successful change management assessment, planning, preparation, and implementation.
  • Foundational Information Management knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with the ability to drive change with key stakeholders and industries and solve complex problems through the design and implementation of effective solutions.
  • Experience in multi-faceted stakeholder management and responding constructively to operational and strategic challenges.
  • Exceptional personal drive, integrity, and commitment as a team player, operating successfully to deliver the priorities of the elected Council, especially for those accountabilities that sit outside the specific divisional remit.
  • Demonstrated experience role modelling a positive safety culture and adherence to the Health Safety Management Systems through visible leadership and exercising due diligence and management of compliance and legislative obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and able to respond to changing demands and priorities efficiently and effectively. Demonstrated personal resilience and self-awareness combined with business and financial acumen.
